Our Wines
2007 vintage is first commercial vintage and it is already delicious. It is a Merlot from the Dry Creek 
region in Healdsburg (see our harvest on a video). The grapes were farmed by a charming vineyard owner couple (former pediatrician) who love the vines like family. As a result the grapes were actually beautiful and they were ripe in an early September heatwave and that's when I picked them September 17th at 25.5 brix.
Looks were not deceiving, the Merlot is already tasting like a winner and I'm sure I will buying more of these grapes this harvest. All of you are welcome to join me in some aspect of the wine making. At the very least I hope you'll enjoy following the process in the videos we'll put out each month. I'll include the stories behind the grapes and finally how we finish the wine.
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
This is a 100% Napa Valley Cabernet fruit and has all the lovely character that has made Napa Valley such a superb growing region. It is well balanced with a rich mouth feel. It is drinking nicely now but can be cellared and will continue to improve for the next five years.

2006 Red Wine North Coast
This is 70% Temprinillo, 27% Malbec and 3% Petite Sirah. This wine is great for someone looking for something a little adventurous. It has all the elegance of a Cabernet or Merlot yet seduces one to try another sip to get a better sense of the Temprinillo, which I'm sure is a new grape for most of you (from Spain). Drinking very nicely now with a dash of spice from the Malbec.

2005 Sauvignon Blanc
Here's another winner from the up and coming Russian River Valley. Very refreshing with hints of citrus and melon. You'll really enjoy this wine during the warmer months.
I like this wine with almost any appetizer because it is light to medium bodied. Also for meals like Chinese that are on the spicier side.
