2007 Sonoma County Limited Merlot

Our most recent release! This is 100% 2007 Dry Creek Valley Merlot. Officially our first commercial 19th Hole golf wine. We reserved these two barrels (only 48 cases) as stand alones because they are what we consider "rock stars" of this vintage. Here's Kris in a video barrel tasting the wine in December 2009.

Here's a big bold Merlot. If you love a rich and intense red you'll really enjoy this wine. You'll get a very pleasurable nose with notes of rich dark chocolate and ripe red fruit. In the mouth you'll taste concentrated red fruit (cherries, plums and strawberries) along with notes of coffee.

This wine would pair nicely with hearty meat (Steak Diane)and pasta dishes.
